EU allocates €166m to 54 space research projects

Industrial consortia will work on topics including monitoring greenhouse gases

The EU has awarded €166 million to 54 space-related research projects expected to produce breakthrough innovations and strengthen the EU space programme.

Announced by the European Commission on 8 September, the projects cover topics including the monitoring of greenhouse gases and tackling the in-orbit needs of spacecraft.
