Group launches initiative to boost data-sharing policies

A group of publishers has pledged to make data sharing a priority for their journals, in a move intended to make it easier for researchers to analyse the outputs of each other’s work.

The International Association of Scientific, Technical and Medical Publishers announced its initiative to ensure that more journals have data policies in place and provide links to data, and that more datasets are cited, at a conference in Berlin on 15 January.
