Next recommendations on research infrastructures to be more strategic

The 2021 set of recommendations by the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures advisory body will focus more on the interests of society and politicians than it has in the past, such as by looking at how facilities can respond to emergencies.

At a virtual plenary meeting on 16 and 17 June, Esfri decided the ‘landscape analysis’ phase of its next multi-year roadmap would “build towards a more strategic approach, including content of broader social and political interest”, Esfri announced on 23 June.
