Four founder organisations submit plan to establish a not-for-profit EOSC Association

Groups working on the development of the European Open Science Cloud, an EU initiative to build an online platform for sharing and analysing research data, have reached a milestone on the road to setting up a permanent legal foundation for the initiative.

Four organisations signed a deed on 29 July to set up a not-for-profit EOSC Association under Belgian law, the Cesaer group of European science and technology universities—one of the signatories—announced on 4 August.
