EU should facilitate industry access to facilities and support ‘flexible’ intellectual property, Earto says
Research and technology organisations have called on the EU to do more to support the use of technology infrastructures such as demonstrators and piloting facilities to achieve environmentally sustainable and digital transitions and strengthen Europe’s “technology sovereignty”.
“Industry depends on the availability of technology infrastructures for validation, prototyping and upscaling before [companies] can enter the market with new solutions,” the European Association of Research and Technology Organisations said in a paper published on 31 July.
