Digital infrastructure has applied for inclusion in influential Esfri Roadmap
Ebrains, the neuroscience infrastructure platform developed by the EU’s Human Brain Project, has applied for recognition from the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures.
Ebrains will become a stand-alone digital infrastructure when the HBP’s EU funding of up to €1 billion dries up in 2023. Its leaders want it to be included in the 2021 edition of the Esfri Roadmap, a regular mapping exercise that advises policymakers on how to direct public funding for research infrastructures.
