University group’s suggestions ahead of member state meeting involve focusing more on smaller facilities

A high-profile university group has proposed ways to improve Europe’s research infrastructure landscape, by focusing more on small and medium-sized facilities.

In a paper published on 2 September, the League of European Research Universities said there were “barriers” to the effective use of research infrastructures in Europe and suggested 15 actions for addressing them.
