European Research Council calls for guidance after study finds “surprisingly low” compliance with EU requirements
No publication repositories open to grantees of the European Research Council live up to EU ideals for their specifications and services, according to a study for the executive agency that administers ERC grants.
The EU’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme, which the ERC is part of, requires grantees to upload their resulting papers to “a trusted repository”, with the criteria for what constitutes such a repository set out in the Model Grant Agreement.
