Progress made on major European infrastructure schemes

New particle collider, satellite system and telescope instrument all inch closer

Several major planned European research infrastructure schemes have reached significant milestones, including a next-generation particle physics collider and a series of EU satellites.

The progress comes at a time when such infrastructures are an important focus for EU politicians, although politicians were directly involved in only one of the developments.
