Coordination of space-related EU funding sources has “strong potential”, say Leru and Cesaer
Universities have broadly welcomed European Commission plans to improve the coordination of civilian and military research on space-related technologies, which are seen as increasingly important to European economies.
Some groups say the plans—launched this month amid warnings from politicians about space-based threats from rival powers—could benefit basic research and its potential application in defence.
