Elsevier parent company reports increased first-half profits

    

Division that includes publishing business achieves 37 per cent adjusted operating profit margin

The parent company of the academic publishing giant Elsevier has announced increased revenue and profits in the first half of the 2023 financial year.

Relx reported on 27 July that its revenue had grown by 8 per cent and that its adjusted profit before tax had grown by 12 per cent to reach £1,350 million (€1,573m), giving a margin of 33 per cent.
