European infrastructure advice group announces new leader

Materials scientist José Luis Martínez to chair European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures

The European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures, which advises policymakers on which facilities to fund, has announced that a new leader will take its helm next year.

José Luis Martínez (pictured), a materials researcher in Spain, will become the chair of Esfri in January, replacing Jana Kolar for a period of two years.
