Test of “variable-thrust” rocket engine revealed “great potential”, agency says

The European Space Agency has expressed enthusiasm over the results of tests of a new kind of rocket engine.

Esa announced on 8 August that the first phase of tests had been completed of the “variable-thrust” engine, which is being developed by a Polish consortium.
