Data hub for Galileo launched in Madrid

A service centre has opened in Spain to support the use of data from the EU’s Galileo satellite programme.

The centre, located within the National Institute of Aerospace Technology in Madrid, will assist companies that use data for downstream services such as agriculture, transport and mapping.

Users of both open data and commercial services will be supported by the centre, according to the Commission announcement.
