The European Patent Office is sponsoring a competition with prizes worth a total of €1 million to encourage innovation in space communications technologies.
Winners of the European Satellite Navigation Competition for the best patented satellite technology will receive a detailed economic study on the market potential of their invention. Their technology may also be included on the short list for next year’s prestigious European Inventor Award, the EPO announced.
The deadline for submissions in the competition is 30 June.
