Brazilian researchers will be encouraged to visit Europe as part of the EU and Brazil’s joint action plan on competitiveness.
Business groups EuroChambres and Business Europe, as well as Brazil’s National Confederation of Industry, will encourage internships for students in the Brazilian Science without Borders scholarship scheme, whilst the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre will look into hosting Brazilian researchers.
Brazil and the EU will also explore the use of videoconferencing, information-sharing events, and swapping experts to improve the access of small businesses from both regions to each other’s markets.
