Funding body may be piloted in early 2017
The proposed European Innovation Council could take the form of a funding body to direct spending alongside a top-level advisory board, an internal document has suggested.
The document, obtained this week by Research Europe, indicates the European Commission is leaning towards a two-pronged model as the best way to improve innovation in Europe.
