European Investment Bank postpones potential green shift
The European Investment Bank has pushed back a decision on whether to phase out funding for natural gas projects until the next meeting of its board of directors on 14 November, following an inconclusive meeting on 15 October.
“After a constructive discussion, the EIB board of directors decided to resume the discussion on the Energy Lending Policy at the next board meeting,” EIB vice president Andrew McDowell said on Twitter.
