Countries must work together and with industry and academia, ministers agree
EU health ministers have urged their countries to cooperate closely with each other and with industry and academia on the development of a vaccine and diagnostic tools for the global coronavirus outbreak.
Their call, in conclusions they adopted as the Council of the EU on 13 February, followed a two-day research forum on the virus convened by the World Health Organization at its headquarters in Geneva.
