EU digital innovation network moves summer schools online

Entrepreneurship courses must go virtual, EIT Digital decides

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology’s network for digital innovation has moved all of this year’s activities for its student summer schools online because of the Covid-19 pandemic and the restrictions put in place on movement.

EIT Digital, one of eight pan-European EIT networks that support innovation through knowledge exchange, announced the move in a press release on 12 May. It said organisers are attempting to recreate elements of the short course in cyberspace, including regular coaching and company visits.
