Ideas sought for future European space missions

Space agency calls for suggestions from industry, academia and the public

The European Space Agency is looking for suggestions for future missions across the entire range of its activities, from industry, academia and citizens.

“The scope of future space missions is figuratively and literally infinite,” ESA said in its call announcement on 4 September. It said suggestions could revolve around solving scientific questions, looking at the universe or accessing space in new ways, making use of new technology or testing new approaches.
