EU innovation bodies agree ‘fully fledged’ cooperation

  

Knowledge exchange funder EIT and startup funder EIC to share advice, data and investment opportunities

Two EU agencies that support innovation using funding from the bloc’s R&D programme have agreed to establish a “fully fledged” cooperation in an effort to make their support more efficient and effective.

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology, which funds knowledge exchange and capacity building in thematic Knowledge and Innovation Communities of research, innovation and education organisations, and the European Innovation Council, which funds the growth of tech-based small businesses, signed a memorandum of understanding on 8 January.
