Group brought together by EU research and innovation commissioner hands over recommendations
An association of EU-based organisations that support startup companies has called on the bloc to provide a better ecosystem for innovative small companies, to help them grow into ‘unicorns’ with valuations of at least $1 billion.
“There is a strong need for coherence in policy making on startups at EU level,” the European Startup Network said in an action plan it handed over to EU research and innovation commissioner Mariya Gabriel on 10 May, having been convened by her for the purpose.
