Multi-country projects also planned for blockchain, 5G communication and high-performance computing
The EU should create initiatives that bring together the investment power and expertise of several member states to ensure the bloc achieves its digital technology aims by doing things no single country could do on its own, according to the European Commission.
It presented an initial list of potential ‘multi-country projects’ on 15 September, as part of a broader plan for digital transformation in four main areas: skills, infrastructure, industry and public services.
