Plan needs to respond to challenges such as the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Commission says
The EU is seeking views on how it should update its 15-year-old Strategic Energy Technology Plan, which coordinates research on clean energy among the bloc’s member states, companies and research institutions.
Explaining what it wants to achieve with a public call for evidence launched on 5 October, the European Commission said the Set Plan has played a central role in guiding research efforts in recent years, but that it must be “revamped” in light of a “rapidly changing policy context”.
