EU innovation rule ‘very problematic’, say universities

  

European Innovation Council rule on inventors “could lead to less research being exploited”, says Leru

Universities have stepped up their expressions of concern about how the EU’s flagship innovation funder is granting access to intellectual property related to projects it supports.

The League of European Research Universities (Leru) said on 24 June that the way the European Commission is controlling access to IP from European Innovation Council projects is “very problematic” and “could lead to less research being exploited”.
