Council of the EU calls for database on medical R&I needs

Member state governments say bloc’s research is “partially failing” to find necessary healthcare solutions

The EU should have a central database listing health-related research and innovation needs, its member state governments have said.

Last week, the Council of the EU, which brings together those governments, adopted a set of conclusions calling for the creation of the database based on a framework devised by independent researchers.
