EIB report reveals staff fear reprisals for whistleblowing

Half of European Investment Bank staff are “afraid to speak up”, leaked report says

An internal report from the European Investment Bank has flagged that half of its employees are concerned about “repercussions” if they raise concerns about perceived misconduct among their colleagues.

The report from the EIB, an EU institution that provides loans to support activities including public and private research and education, contains the results of a staff survey assessing such whistleblowing.
