Leadership, entrepreneurship, data analysis and regulatory skills are lacking, according to industry experts
Health innovation in Europe is being held back by a lack of skills, according to a new study based on surveys and interviews with sector leaders.
The study, led by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology’s health network EIT Health, found that the health technology sector is in particular need of ‘soft’ skills in five areas: leadership and people management; entrepreneurship; strategic planning; communication; and business development and networking.
