National University of Ireland, Galway PhD student Ciaran Kennedy has won two prizes at the 30th International Conference on Ocean, Offshore and Arctic Engineering in the Netherlands.
He took first prize for innovation and second prize overall in a floating wind turbine design challenge as part of a team of four international PhDs.
