The junior minister for science, Sean Sherlock, has announced funding worth €4.3 million for a PhD programme designed to give entrepreneurial skills to medical researchers.
The Clinical and Translational Research Scholars Programme is supported by money from Cycle 5 of the Programme for Research in Third Level Institutions, run by the Higher Education Authority.
