Innovation will flourish when the links between academic research and enterprise become stronger, the junior minister for research, Sean Sherlock, has said.
Research and the “innovation revolution” had key roles to play in boosting the Irish economy, he emphasised at a 10 November breakfast that brought together 120 people from industry and research to highlight collaborations between the two groups.
