PM opens healthcare giant’s €100m research centre

Healthcare company MSD has officially opened its €100 million R&D centre in Ballydine, Co Tipperary. Taoiseach (Prime Minister) Enda Kenny was on hand to celebrate the event on 22 September.

Moves are already afoot to expand the facility with a €6m investment and the potential to increase employment from 70 to about 120, according to the company.
