Exports in November were 9 per cent higher than the same month the previous year, according to the latest figures released by the Central Statistics Office.
November exports were the second highest monthly figures on record, the jobs minister, Richard Bruton, said in a statement on 18 January. The trade surplus rose 16 per cent to €4.3 billion, the highest yet.
