Trinity students to participate in Stanford design course

Software development company SAP is to sponsor the participation of four Trinity College Dublin postgraduate students in the prestigious Stanford University ME310 Design Innovation course.

Announced on 22 November, the programme will see the four engineering and computer science students in Dublin working with four engineering students at Stanford in California’s Silicon Valley on a “Design Innovation Challenge” set by SAP. The company sponsors one university a year to participate in the programme. The students will work from their own university bases but remain in regular contact during the one-year programme.
