Trinity College Dublin has joined a research collaboration involving Brazil and teams from Italy and Switzerland to study naturally occurring anti-inflammatory substances found in the Amazon rainforest.
The collaboration involves nine centres in Europe and three in Brazil, with EU funding worth €3 million coming from FP7.
