The government and the private sector have linked up to create a cloud computing innovation centre. It will have nodes within government IT networks and in partner company EMC Corporation.
Announced on 13 February, the Cloud4Gov initiative also includes Cisco, VMware, VCE and the state support body, IDA Ireland.
