Nominations are open for the third annual Engineers Ireland Excellence Awards in which the general public are invited to choose the wining engineering project for 2012.
Engineers Ireland will produce an initial shortlist from which the public will make the final award decision, the body said in a statement on 23 July. The project of the year will be announced on 9 November.
