Ennis-based semiconductor development company Microsemi is to provide €50,000 over six years to fund scholarships in engineering at the University of Limerick.
In a 7 August announcement the company also said that its Ennis facility would become its European headquarters. Microsemi has been in Co Limerick, where it employs 300, since 1992.
