Galway signs agreement with researchers in China

National University of Ireland Galway has signed a memorandum of understanding with two leading research groups in China that opens the way for collaborative studies and academic exchange.

Signed in Beijing on 14 August, the agreement is with the Tianjin International Joint Academy of Biotechnology and Medicine and a medical technology company, China Nucleon Medical Technology Group. An initial project is already underway to develop a polymer for cancer treatment.
