A retail banking support company, the Lafferty Group, has announced it will open a centre for banking education, publishing and research, creating 40 jobs over three years in Westport, Co Mayo.
Announced by the Taoiseach (prime minister) Enda Kenny on 3 August, the centre will become the research and content division of the International Academy of Retail Banking, a Lafferty Group company formed last year with clients in over 20 countries. The Lafferty Group provides services for the world retail banking industry.
