Online service will help companies plug into research

A web portal that allows companies to search for funding support for research activities has been launched by the Euraxess office of the Irish Universities Association with the support of the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation.

The service provides a “one stop shop” for companies looking to become involved in research and development activities, said junior minister for research Sean Sherlock  at the launch on 14 May. Companies can advertise vacancies, peruse researcher CVs, and view national and European funding supports, he added.

The Irish Universities Association’s EURAXESS office is one of 200 such mobility centres in 40 countries across Europe.
