Positive outlook for Dublin’s digital hub

The Dublin-based Digital Hub has seen considerable growth over the past year according to its end of year statement for 2013, with 23 companies taking office space at the hub, bringing the number of firms based there to 70.

The hub, which released its end of year review on 2 January, supports growing digital enterprises by providing office space and high quality computer and telecommunications links. It was one of the hub’s “busiest and most successful years”, said Edel Flynn, head of the Digital Hub Development Agency. Extra office space will be provided to meet growing demand, he said.

The 70 firms based there employ 900 people, and since its foundation 10 years ago 170 companies have moved through the Digital Hub.
