A research centre at the National University of Ireland Galway will lead a €4-million study into tendon repair and regeneration, with funding from the Marie Skłodowska-Curie European Training Networks action.
The research will be carried out at the Regenerative, Modular and Developmental Engineering Laboratory which is part of Galway’s Centre for Research in Medical Devices or CÚRAM.
The funding will support the training of 15 early-stage researchers and is the fourth such project being conducted at CÚRAM. The project involves six academic, three clinical and seven industry partners.
