Oracle has announced it will hire 450 people in Dublin and another 950 for company units in Europe and the Middle East as the company continues its expansion into cloud computing.
The company announced on 14 January that is in transition from being a database supplier to one of the largest cloud-computing companies in the world.
The company has moved into new offices in Dublin where it already has 1,400 employees. The new jobs will be mainly in sales.
