Postdoctoral researcher Deirdre Robertson has won the fifth annual FameLab Ireland competition, which aims to make the toughest research understandable to a lay audience.
Her win on 13 April involved delivering a three-minute talk about her work. Robertson presented a talk about a rehabilitation technique used to assist those with Parkinson’s disease.
She will now go on to compete as Irish representative in the international finals of FameLab at the Cheltenham Science Festival later this year.
