Chamber of Commerce remains positive about post-Brexit collaboration, but demands better policy support

Ireland could become an international “research powerhouse” by strengthening connections with the UK research ecosystem if it improves policy, a meeting has heard.

The second annual high-level conference on higher education and research, organised by the British-Irish Chamber of Commerce, took place on 18 November. Participants discussed the introduction of a “north-south academic corridor” to enhance bilateral research.
