More staff, funding and training needed across all Irish universities, study warns

A report has called for a significant increase in funding, plus specialist staff and widespread training for Irish universities, to tackle sexual harassment in higher education.

The Propel report on promoting consent and preventing sexual violence was published by the Technological Higher Education Association (THEA) on 15 March. It recommended the creation of permanent funding programmes for sexual misconduct management at both national and institutional level.
