University announces open competition for two-year postdoc to understand legacy

Trinity College Dublin is set to embark on a two-year examination of its colonial past.

The college announced last week that an open competition will be held for a two-year postdoctoral research position to “examine, interrogate and reflect on its complex colonial legacies”. An advisory board that includes former president of Ireland and Trinity chancellor Mary McAleese will oversee the work.
