Plan to combat racism in Irish higher education

  

Strategy includes mandatory training and better recruitment to improve top-level diversity

The Higher Education Authority of Ireland has published an action plan to tackle racial inequality in Irish higher education institutions.

The plan includes national and institutional-level actions, such as the creation of a national anti-racism campaign and anti-racism charter, and making race equality training mandatory for all staff, including all members of recruitment panels.
